Intensive Outpatient Program for Mental Health

Intensive Outpatient Program for Mental Health

Maintain Life Obligations While Getting the Help You Need

At CONQUER, we understand that not everyone needs a high level of care to treat a mental health disorder. On the other hand, some people may need more support than a regular outpatient program can provide. With intensive outpatient programming (IOP), you can get both by receiving in-depth behavioral health care and still balance day-to-day aspects of life. And at CONQUER, our mental health IOP is held in-person and online, creating convenient access to care.

First: What Is IOP?

IOP is considered a lower level of care. This means you don’t need hospitalization or around-the-clock supervision like you would in an inpatient, residential or partial hospitalization setting. Instead, IOP encompasses an average of nine hours per week that’s dedicated to individual and group therapy. The time is broken up into three-hour sessions three times per week, lasting four to six weeks total. This schedule allows you to get the concentrated treatment needed to manage and overcome a mental health disorder without leaving your job, school or family for an extended period of time.

Why You Should Choose IOP at CONQUER

As a leading provider of mental health disorder services, CONQUER uses evidence-based treatment that is carried out by a supportive staff of psychiatrists, ARNPs, psychologists and certified counselors. Here’s why you should consider mental health IOP at CONQUER:

  • Attend in-person or online meetings.
  • Gain valuable life skills and coping strategies.
  • Find support in a group of your peers (program serves adults 18 and older).
  • Uncover root causes of the mental health disorder through process exercises.
