FAQ

GENERAL QUESTIONS

The coexistence of both a mental illness and a substance use disorder.

The treatment and care that we offer can be entirely digital. This approach, known as telehealth, means patients can access the care and support they need anywhere or at anytime, and can even have their prescriptions sent to their local pharmacy. For those who have the required technology (laptop, tablet or smartphone) this model of care reduces many significant barriers to care.

As part of our treatment and care, our clinicians can prescribed a range of safe and effective medications to help you in your recovery journey. We call this Medication Assisted Treatment (otherwise known as MAT).  This includes medications such as buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone) and naltrexone (Vivitrol), for people dealing with an opioid use disorder and naltrexone and acamprosate, for  people dealing with alcohol use disorder.

In-person appointment are always available and highly valuable as they maximize human connection potential.

At least 50% of people struggling with a substance use disorder are also dealing with another mental health illness. Often time patients will need to see two separate to get both addressed. This is very inconvenient the patient. At CONQUER we will treat all mental health conditions!
